1 qty. 18 oz. container of prunes*
2 tbsp Bird's Custard Powder*
3 1/4 Cups Milk
*Ingredients can be found at Walmart or Winston's Market
Place half a container of prunes in a small saucepan. Add water. Do not fill the pot higher than the level of the prunes. Place lid on saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer 10-12 minutes until prunes are soft.
Strain prunes and let them cool. You can keep the juice aside and have for a drink.
Place two teaspoons of custard powder and three teaspoons of sugar into a small mixing bowl. Add 1/4 cup of milk and mix until smooth.
Pour three cups of milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately and add powder mixture. Stir continuously until thick.
