Mike returns calls promptly and has a positive manner about himself. He is witty, knowledgeable and a great listener. He is also remarkably coachable, and that goes a long way for him to realize there is still room for improvement. Mike's clients often times have pets. And, oh yes, the pet has to have attention too! Although we are in the care giving business "to provide companionship to a Person(s)", in meeting their level of satisfaction, the pet is part of the family too. Mike is not a complainer! He simply goes out and does the finest job he can. In doing so, he provides a level of security to the client. He is flexible with changes in shift assignments, working weekends, including nights as a live-in caregiver when needed. Mike has the needed energy to match and satisfy the level of care given in order to supplement the family support system as established in the expectations of the care plan.
Mike has participated in all the open training sessions available at Aishling Companion Home Care. This includes our semi-annual care giving training and the Dementia CT™ training and certification program. Mike is vocal and responsive in group settings and that helps to stimulate class participation.
We are truly proud of this wonderful caregiver and we are so proud of the fact that he takes his responsibilities seriously and gives his very best to the client each and every day - he thinks ahead, plans and makes suggestions for better care; which emulates the company's mission and vision while serving our clients and the family support system.
